5:00pm – 8:30pm +/- As twilight fades we’ll end service and clear the area.
The show will go on if light rain or passing showers are forecast. We’ll have a rain date for the next day, Monday, if heavy rain or lighting is forecast. We’ll make the call the by noon on Saturday prior and email all ticket holders as to what the plan is. If un-managable conditions persist through Monday, well, we’re all out of luck then. There is risk here. No refunds or exchanges are promised or implied in the event of a double rain-out.
We certainly hope this doesn’t happen. But, if it does, tickets are transferable. Give them to a friend or client, sell them on Craig’s List or to anyone on the waiting list, donate them to a local charity to re-sell for you or pay it forward by giving them away to a person who you know who serves your local community.
Bring warm clothes just in case. Even if it is 100 degrees in the city, bring warm clothes. Temperatures could be 30 degrees cooler than they are in the city. The location is in the mountains, next to a cool river. It will cool off fast once the sun begins to set. Well make a bon fire or two as well. We will not postpone or cancel events due to low temperatures.
All sales are final. There will be NO REFUNDS for any reason. Even in the event of a double rain out (Sunday AND Monday) there will be NO REFUNDS. The chances of this happening are slim. There is risk here. No refunds or exchanges are promised or implied in the event of a double rain-out.
The Truss Bridge sits at the bottom of Denniston Hill, at the corner of Grey Road and Denniston Hill Road, South Fallsburg, NY
GPS COORDINATES: 41.677752,-74.598198 or set your GPS for 49 Ranch Hill Road.
It is near Glen Wild, Woodridge, Rock Hill, South Fallsburg and Monticello. It is right next to Trussbridge Farms which is also located in South Fallsburg.
Function over fashion is the call here. Casual, comfortable and warm clothes are strongly suggested. Be as fashionable as you like, but bring a jacket, slight shell and even an umbrella in case of passing showers or cool breezes. Also, wearing shoes that allow you to easily walk in uneven, grassy (and potentially muddy) fields are also recommended.
Parking will be free and plentiful in an adjoining field. Valet parking will be provided free of charge. If it has been rainy in the days before the dinner, we’d suggest that you leave the Ferarri at home and come in the SUV.
The load limit on the bridge has been approved for up to 200 people plus all of the equipment needed to produce these dinners. Plow trucks full of sand recently traveled over this bridge. Its solid and safe for us to enjoy in this way.
